The Lake Ashton Republican Club will host a forum at the HFC on Wednesday, August 24 at 4 p.m. with all twelve candidates for Polk County School Board. This forum is being held to make residents aware of issues in education today. It is imperative to meet the adults challenged with setting the standards for local children. Submit any questions to Betty Davenport by August 22. All residents are invited to attend. Snacks provided. Remember, this forum is held just five days before the primary election on August 30.
