Chat & Chew Live Streamed Skype Session
Thursday, October 13, 2016, 12:00pm - 02:00pm
One of every four deaths in the U.S. is from cancer -
more than 1,500 people a day, according to the Latimer
Cancer Foundation. Is there anything you can do
personally to reduce your risks? Dr. T. Colin Campbell
says yes, and will address questions from the Winter
Haven Library audience as well as those gathered from
Lake Ashton and other selected locations concerning
the links between cancer and diet.
A biochemist and a Jacob Gould Schurman Professor
Emeritus of Nutritional Biochemistry at Cornell
University, Dr. Campbell has conducted original
research both in laboratory and in large-scale human
studies on the connections between diet and cancer. He
is one of the featured researchers in the #1
Documentary “Forks Over Knives.” His daughter Dr.
LeAnne Campbell, author of The China Study Cookbook,
will have her Cooking Summit in North Carolina live
streamed to invited groups all over the country,
including Lake Ashton.
The session will be streamed Thursday, October 13
from noon to 2 p.m. in the Clubhouse Conference
Room. Limited to the first 12 to sign up at the
Clubhouse Activities Desk .
