United Shades of America follows comedian W. Kamau Bell as he explores the far corners of our country and its subcultures. The Lake Ashton community and its residents may be featured in the Fountain of Youth episode which is scheduled to air Sunday, December 4 at 10 pm on CNN. This episode may include film of Kamau living a day in the life of an active retired adult: participating in water aerobics, golf, pickleball, bowling, and social activities, juxtaposing that experience with that of college students on spring break. This episode was scheduled to air in June but was preempted due to coverage of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando. CNN is channel 29 on Bright House Networks, channel 202 on DirecTV and channel 200 on DISH Network.
