Dr. Michael White will be offering an entertaining and
enlightening seminar on how to get the best medical care
possible. The interactive session "Safer Medical Care for You
and Yours - Six Tools fo Safe, Effective Compassionate
Care" begins at 10:30 a.m. February 6 in the Clubhouse
Cinema. Participants will learn critical information about
communicating medical details to health care professionals.
The cost is $10 and includes a book that will serve as a
reference. Attendees should sign up in advance at the
Oubhouse Activities Desk and bring paper and pen, a list of
allergies, a list of rnedicatioj, a list of medical conditions,
and a list of physicians.

All participants will receive contact information for Dr.
White in order to address post-seminar follow-up questions
and concerns. Dr. White is a board-certified general internist,
author and radio host. He is a graduate of Union College
and Albany Medical College. His general internal medicine
career has provided him with experience and insights as a
clinician, scientist, teacher, physician executive, quality and
safety professional and national consultant.
