Big issues are now before this country: Social Security,
Medicare and veterans’ benefits, to name a few now at risk.
Can they be saved? What needs to be done? What can be
done? Democratic voters outnumbered Republicans by the
millions in the last election. A minority controlling a
majority is not a democracy. A Lake Ashton Democratic
Club is being formed in order to better advance and protect
needs and interests. If you are a registered Democrat,
regardless of the state in which you vote, you are welcome
to come to the formation meeting of the LADC on Sunday
February 12 at 5 p.m. in the HFC Media Center. Please RSVP
to Richard Sutherland. Bring your voter ID card.
