All Lake Ashton Canadians are invited to a Western
Shindig on Wednesday, March 22 at the HFC. At a
modest cost of $17 per person, there will be a roast
beef carving station with au jus and horseradish,
chicken Marsala, garlic cheddar mashed potatoes,
sautéed French beans, garden salad, French rolls,
dessert, sweet tea, and water. Plates and cutlery will
also be provided. You only need to bring glasses and
any other beverages.

Bob Slack, the past President of the Canadian
Snowbird Association will be the featured speaker.
Bob will provide update on cross border issues, the
Canadian Retiree Visa, and other topics important to
Canadians traveling in the United States. Please sign
up at the HFC Activities Desk by February 28. The
number of attendees must be confirmed to the caterer,
so late signups cannot be accepted. Signups must be
accompanied by a check for $17 per person, payable
to Ed Wills. The doors will open on March 22 at 5:30
p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. sharp. Bring
your suds and western duds!
