Residents can join Chat and Chew for a grocery store tour at the neighborhood Publix Thursday, April 20, from 1 to 2:45 p.m. at Publix at Shoppes on The Ridge, 23965 Hwy 27, Lake Wales. During the scheduled tour, explore the local grocery store and learn how to effortlessly make food choices that match personal health goals. During the tour, a registered dietitian will teach about the Publix labels and provide tips for choosing the healthiest food. Next, drop-in on a session with physical therapist Dr. Jann Lawlor to understand the causes and treatments of headaches. Finish with a tour conducted by Chat and Chew members who share how they meet their health goals with tasty and healthy foods quickly prepared by using convenience food.
