The Lake Ashton Veterans Association will present “Remembering and Saluting Hometown Heroes Past and Present” on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29. There will be an outdoor ceremony at 10 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial followed by an indoor ceremony at 11 in the ClubhousBallroom. This year will be a special recognition of the many Lake Ashton veteran heroes (especially those who have passed) who unselfishly answered the call of their country. The ceremonies will be followed by a buffet lunch that includes a main course of hot dogs and hamburgers with two sides (macaroni and cheese and chips), and drinks (iced tea or water). Tickets for the lunch are $13 each and can be purchased at Monday Coffee or either Activities Desk. Please join to honor and remember all the local veterans, past and present, and enjoy a great meal.
