Rue and Sharlene Denton, who own and operate The Living
Water Boat Tours, will offer complimentary cruises around
Lake Ashton on Tuesday, September 5. There will be six
cruise sessions starting at 8 a.m. with the last cruise
departing at 11:15 a.m., weather permitting. During each
cruise, residents will learn information about Florida’s
unique flora, fauna, ecosystem, and even some history of
Lake Ashton. Please sign up in advance at the Clubhouse
Activities Desk beginning August 7 after Monday Coffee.
Each tour is limited to 8 guests and registered participants
should arrive at Lake Ashton’s Boat Ramp 10 minutes prior
to departure time. Learn more about Living Water Boat
Cruises and Winter Haven’s unique Chain of Lakes at
Monday Coffee August 7. Mr. Denton will be presenting
information about Chain of Lakes landmarks and history.
Residents will also learn the newest ways to get on the
Chain of Lakes and enjoy this great natural resource.
