Why take an AARP Driver Safety Course? Because driving
has changed since you first got your license, and doing so
could save you money. Cars, traffic rules, driving conditions
and the roads you travel every day have all changed. After
completing the course, you will have a greater appreciation
of driving challenges and a better understanding of how to
avoid potential collisions that could injure yourself or others.
You may also be eligible to receive an insurance discount, so
consult your insurance agent for details. The course is
offered by AARP Driver Safety especially for drivers age 50
and older.
This six-hour course will be held in the Clubhouse Cinema
on Monday, October 16 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. AARP
membership is not required and there is no test to pass. The
course costs only $15 for AARP members and $20 for nonmembers.
Bringing a bag lunch and a light jacket is
suggested. Please sign up at the Clubhouse Activities Desk
and bring with you a check payable to AARP. Limit 55.
