With summer and fall seasons behind us, the winter months'schedule includes a 1-2-3 best net (BN) team game (18 holesoptional) on December 6, a one and two BN of four on December13, an individual low net with the highest one hole scorediscarded on December 20, and a 2 of 4 BN net team shamble (18holes optional) on December 27. January's weekly Wednesdaygames (January 3, 10, 24 and 31) are all team events with threespecial events thrown in as the Lake Ashton Golf Club begins itstournament season. The LAGC Member-Member, a 2-man netbest ball, will be played on Friday and Saturday, January 5 and6. The annual "LA Blues Scramble Ringer Tournament” onTuesday and Wednesday, January 16 and 17, features two BlueMan Group and two LA Niners golfers on each team, looking toreplace last year's winning team of Pam Kinel, CherylWinchester, Cal DenBesten, and John Holmes. On Friday andSaturday, January 26 and 27, the LAGC's annual individualRinger Tournament will include an 18-hole Blue Division in thetwo-day flighted event. Check your calendars and pencil in thedays. Register for all these events and you're playing 54 holes(the equivalent of three 18-hole rounds) of competitive golf inDecember, and 135 holes (7.5 rounds) in the first month of thenew year.
