The Lake Ashton Black Heritage Club will host an informative presentation March 19 at 10 a.m. in the Cinema about the Education of Homeless Children and Youth in Polk County. Dee Dee Wright, Homeless Liaison for Polk County Public Schools, is the guest speaker. All clubs, activities, and individuals are invited to attend and encouraged to support the children and youths involved in this program. Donations are also accepted at both Activities Desks for homeless graduating seniors. You can write a check to the Polk County Schools or purchase food gift cards in $5, $10, or $15 denominations.
