THE KAYAK CLUB IS GOING TO DO A PADDLE ON THE 3RD OF APRIL. YOU ARE WELCOME TO JOIN US
Little Manatee River, from Canoe Outpost on Rt 301, Wimauma, to Fish Camp take out, about 6 miles down river.

Rental Cost - Boat rental includes shuttle service. Tandem Kayak - 55.00. Single kayak - $45.00
Bathrooms - At the launch site and also at the take out
If you have your own boat and do not need to rent, the shuttle cost is $20.00.
Meet at the HFC parking lot at 8 AM, and we can car pool. Plan on leaving Lake Ashton at 8:15. That should get us at Canoe Outpost about 9:45 AM, We will leave our cars at the Canoe Outpost and they will haul us and our boats to the launch site and we will then float downstream back to canoe outpost.
Note - please call and make your reservations, including those who have their own boats and are just going to use the shuttle. When you call, identify yourself as a member of the Lake Ashton Kayak and Canoe Club so we can get any applicable discounts. There are discounts available for renting or shuttle service for 8 or more boats.
Please let me know if you are going, and whether or not you have your own boats
Take sunscreen, insect repellent, and plenty of water.
The State of Florida requires that every paddler have a life vest and a whistle
