Sign up at the Clubhouse Activities Desk to take a free all-day tour of several Sheriff’s Office facilities. Participants will need to meet at 7:45 am at the Sheriff’s Operations Center (SOC) 1891 Jim Keene Blvd. Winter Haven 33880 (note: follow Jim Keene Blvd. all the way down to the left towards the beige building with green roof). Return to the SOC will be around 5 pm. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks provided. Sign up by April 19.

Everyone must follow these rules in order to participate in the tour:

-Consider bringing a bottle of water, however no large coolers are allowed
-Dress appropriately – NO shorts, short skirts, low cut tops, sleeveless shirts, open toed shoes, sandals, etc.
-Remember that there is a lot of walking to include stairs so wear comfortable close toed shoes
-Consider bringing a light jacket – it may be cool in the office areas
-Consider leaving large purses at home, but remember to carry your driver’s license
-Do not carry any weapons – no guns, pocket knives, scissors, metal nail files, etc.
-No video cameras; however, still pictures may be taken
-Bus is not handicap accessible; however, those using walkers or canes may not have any trouble entering.
