The last dinner/meeting of 2016 will honor the Polk County Humane Society on December 14, with social hour starting at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6 in the Fire restaurant. There will be a special presentation to the Humane Society in the Clubhouse Ballroom following dinner. All attendees are asked to bring a holiday gift to donate to the Society for this presentation. This month will be the last Honored Pet of the Month; “Honored Pet Family of the Month” will start in January 2017. All renewed members who have given the Committee a photo of the owner(s) with their pet(s) will have a chance to be selected each month in 2017. Congratulations to the 33 Honored Pets of the Month for 2015-16. A special album of these honored pets has been put together for all to view in future years. This album will be available for you to view at each meeting in 2017. Call Don Cook for any additional information.
