Lake Wales, Florida — 21 October 2023 — The Lake Ashton Veterans Association Auxiliary (LAVA Auxiliary) is again hosting their annual Craft Fair event, to be held at the Lake Ashton Clubhouse, 4140 Ashton Club Dr, Lake Wales, FL 33859 on Saturday, 21 October 2023. The Craft Fair will run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM; admission is free, and the event is open to the public.

A variety of local vendors are participating, including custom wood crafts, wreaths, gnomes, handmade charcuterie boards, painted glassware, sewn, knitted and crocheted items, homemade chocolates, original artworks, Christmas items, handcrafted cards, and a variety of arts & crafts items and specialty hand-made items.

Three “Patriotic Trees” will be on display. Each tree holds $100 of Florida Lottery scratch off tickets plus a $30 gift card to Glory Days restaurant, and the LAVA Auxiliary will be selling raffle tickets for chances to win - $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. Winner does not need to be present to win. Don’t miss out on the fun. This could be your lucky day!

Lunch items will be available for purchase, and homemade baked goods will also be sold.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to the K9 Partners for Patriots. This program works with rescue dogs to bring “peace and functionality to veterans who are facing a war all over again as they cope with anxieties born of service-related post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), and/or military sexual trauma (MST).” Additional information is available on the K9 Partners for Patriots website - https://k9partnersforpatriots.com/
