Lake Ashton Bird and Nature Club

The next field trip will be Saturday, March 19 to Lake Kissimmee State Park to search for Florida Scrub Jays, Crested Caracaras, Wild Turkeys and Red-headed Woodpeckers. There will be the opportunity to observe an active Bald Eagle nest and may also see deer.
The Club will depart from the main Clubhouse parking lot at 8:30 a.m. There is a $5 entrance fee per car. Please bring binoculars, water and lunch and be prepared to walk about a mile at most, some of it on sandy soil.
