Chat & Chew Luncheon
Monday, January 30, 2017, 11:30am - 12:30pm
Those interested in eating a healthy plant-based diet can attend an interactive seminar in the Clubhouse Cinema January 30 at 10:15 a.m. (following Monday Coffee). The topic is gut health. Information from Dr. Michael Klaper about microbiomes and the role of probiotics will be presented and discussed. Many are learning that healthy gut bacteria can aid in digestion, resist disease, impact mood, impact emotions, and assist with maintaining a healthy weight. Leaky gut is a funny-sounding condition, but not so funny to have because it can lead to serious diseases, from asthma and arthritis to autoimmune disease and autism. This great session is dedicated to a focus on digestion and offers an explanation on how to repair damaged gut linings.
Fire at Lake Ashton is offering a special Chat & Chew menu as a lunch special January 30. The tasty whole food plant- based meal with no added oil is designed to keep the gut healthy! Those interested will make a reservation to eat in the restaurant at 11:30 a.m. A menu and more details will be published in January.
