CPR Training
Wednesday, October 25, 2017, 01:00pm - 03:00pm
Why should you know how to perform cardiopulmonary
resuscitation, or CPR? Accidents and illnesses can happen
anywhere and without warning. It’s estimated that up to
88% of cardiac arrests will happen in an individual’s home.
From a statistical standpoint, the life you save when giving a
person CPR is likely to be a loved one. CPR is easy to learn,
effective, and even a few seconds can make a big difference
after an accident or cardiac arrest has occurred. Effectively
performed CPR can mean the difference between life and
death.
Learn CPR by attending the four-hour class on Wednesday,
October 25 at 1 p.m. in the Clubhouse Ballroom. The cost is
free, unless you would like to obtain a CPR Training Card
($5), and/or a mouth guard ($4.50, payable at class). Please
sign up at the Clubhouse Activities Desk. Limited to 15
attendees.
