The Lake Ashton Veterans Association will present the Annual Fourth of July Golf Cart, Classic Car and other Conveyance Parade. As in the past, classic cars and other conveyances (bicycles, etc.) are welcome, as well as golf carts. Come join your Lake Ashton neighbors and decorate carts, cars and more, and “parade” through the community on the morning of the Nation’s Birthday. Sign up at the Clubhouse Activities Desk starting June 1. Line up for the parade will start at 9:30 a.m. on the Fourth at the HFC Parking Lot with the parade starting at 10 a.m. If you don’t feel like decorating your cart, just come and celebrate the Fourth of July throughout Lake Ashton. There will be prizes for the best decorated carts or other vehicles. So, come on out, Lake Ashton, and celebrate our Independence Day with a good old fashioned parade ... sort of.
