Crime can happen to anyone at any time. Be prepared toprotect yourself when and if that time should come bytaking this free Basic Self Defense Class in the ClubhouseBallroom on January 29 at 10 a.m. The class is being taughtby the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and will consist of alecture with common sense safety tips on how to avoidbecoming a victim of a crime. Basic safety tips andtechniques are also taught to enable you to escape lessthan desirable situations. The class is approximately onehour to an hour and a half, depending on the number ofattendees.
