Blankets of Love at Lake Ashton (BOLLA), is pleased to sponsor a very special event on January 22, 2020, from 3 to 5 pm at the HFC. Leigh Ann Brown will be a guest presenting Portrait of a Bride, An Evolving Silhouette. Leigh Ann has been a lover and collector of vintage clothing for many years. In the last 20 years, she has become a collector of vintage wedding gowns. Her oldest gown is from 1872, and her collection spans to present day. Leigh Ann has over 300 gowns in her collection and will be bringing 25-30 of her favorites to Lake Ashton. Her presentation will include details not only about the gowns, but of the historical perspective for each time period. Leigh Ann loves sharing her collection and encourages everyone to participate. Her presentation is truly outstanding. Tickets are $12 and will be available at the HFC and after Monday Coffee. Refreshments will be provided. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Proceeds from the event will benefit BOLLA.
