The Lake Ashton Republican Club will meet Wednesday at 4:30 pm in the Clubhouse Ballroom as scheduled, however, Sheriff Grady Judd has taken ill and will not be speaking. The speaker will be a representative of the Sheriff’s Department speaking on Human Trafficking. The meal is cancelled. As always, everyone is welcome. The January meeting of the Lake Ashton Republican Club will be held in the Clubhouse Ballroom onJanuary 29. Due to a schedule conflict at the HFC, it is being held later in the month than usual and in an alternate location. Guest speaker is Polk County’s legendary Sheriff Grady Judd. Social hour and dinner will be at 4:30 and Sheriff Judd will begin speaking at 6. The meal will be sloppy joes, potato salad, chips and baked beans for $10/person. Happy hour prices will be available. Please plan to pay for meal and drinks with cash. Volunteers are requested to bring desserts. Sign-up sheets are available at the Clubhouse and HFC.
