The LA Purple Stars is a club of dedicated individuals who raise money for The American Cancer Society by having fundraisers. The club meets for an hour once a month to plan events. You don't have to be a survivor or a caregiver to join the club, just someone interested in helping to eradicate this terrible disease. The Purple Stars are part of the Winter Haven Relay for Life, which comprises 25 teams and the culmination of the group’s efforts will be April 24 in Winter Haven’s Central Park when all the teams come together to celebrate their achievements.
