The Lake Ashton Golf Cart registration program will begin and residents who operate their carts on any golf cart paths, bridges, golf course tract and areas adjacent to retention ponds within the community are required to register. In addition, any residents who wish to voluntarily register their carts may do so at this time. The old numbered decals provided by the golf club are no longer valid.

The initial golf cart registration will take place at the Health and Fitness Center (HFC) from the 15th of July through the 22nd of July from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. To register, a resident must present either a Florida drivers’ license with a Lake Ashton address on it or a Lake Ashton identification card and fill out and sign the registration form provided or downloadable at the CDD II website (agreeing to adhere to Lake Ashton policies and Florida traffic statutes). Upon registering, a resident will have a numbered decal affixed to the cart and receive a golf course etiquette card and a map. If the resident cannot make the initial registration times, they may register in person at the HFC activities desk between 8 AM and 4 PM Mondays thru Fridays starting 23 July.
