Swim Better
Summary: Would you like to improve your swimming skills, or would you like to represent Lake Ashton in the Polk Senior Games and potentially the Florida (state) Senior Games, and the National Senior Games? Program 1 - Swim Better group meets 2 - 2:45 p.m. This group will work on improving strokes and becoming safer in the water. Not beginner.

Program 2 - Senior Games group meets 3 - 4 p.m. This group will work on competitive swim skills and speed, with a goal of swimming in the Polk Co. Senior Games in late Feb 2020. You should know two strokes and be able to swim at least two lengths.

Classes will be limited to 10, so pre-register at HFC Activities Desk. The programs will be offered in eight-class sessions, which will repeat until at least Dec. (March-April, May-June, etc.) Goggles are recommended. Cost is $5 per class payable for eight classes in advance ($40). Make check payable to Sandy White.
