February’s game night is different from the others of the past — no teams will be needed! All are welcome to join in the fun on February 5 at 6:30 pm. This crowd game is collective fun that doesn’t pit players against one another but instead showcases individual players’ talents. You Can’t Stop the Beat is a game designed for creative participation. It combines personal creativity with group effort in style. The objective is to have each person perform a short beat in random order that makes up a longer beat as players get added in. The beat is thought up turn by turn by each player. The challenge is to finish the beat without any breaks in the order, or else the whole thing has to start over. Example: player one pats their lap twice, starting the beat, then points to another player to repeat the two lap pats then adds claps to the beat. Player two then points to another player to add to the beat sequence, and so on. This game promises tons of laughter at each other and fun for all!
