The Lake Ashton Veterans Association will be holding a military birthday recognition ceremony for Captain Jack Davenport, U.S. Navy retired, on the occasion of his One-Hundredth Birthday!

The ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m., at the Health and Fitness Center ballroom, this Saturday, August 6.

Captain Davenport’s over 28 years of service to his country spans World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, as well many years during the Cold War.
