Lake Ashton Living, Inc., an IRS approved 501(c)(7) and CDD registered club operated by and for residents, was founded to promote lifestyle-enhancing opportunities and foster open, transparent communication throughout the greater Lake Ashton community.

Lake Ashton

Lake Ashton is a 55 and older deed restricted community located in central Florida roughly midway between Tampa and Orlando. It straddles the City of Lake Wales and the City of Winter Haven within Polk County.

Lake Ashton is close to the central Florida vacation megacenters of Legoland, Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, and Bush Gardens. Groceries stores and an indoor mall are within a 5 minute car ride.

It's like having your own private resort wiith many amenities, clubs, entertainment, and activities to make retired life a joy. We have regular concerts, weekly movies, two restaurants, and even a bowling alley.

Lake Ashton features two clubhouses each with a ballroom, fitness center, craft room, card room, media center with computers.

Outside there are two premier golf courses that wind their way through the community which abut many backyards where residents can literally step right off their lanai and onto the green.

Important Phone Numbers:

The governance of Lake Ashton is shared among two Community Development Districts (CDDs), two Homeowners Associations (HOAs), and one Condominium Association. Each CDD owns and maintains its respective amenities, infrastructure, and operations, including roads, ponds, bridges, cart paths, and stormwater drainage systems. The HOAs do not own property; rather, they are responsible for enforcing the community’s Covenants and Architectural Guidelines, which regulate homeowners’ properties.

Because Lake Ashton spans two municipalities, Lake Wales and Winter Haven, there is a separate CDD and HOA within each city. The Lake Wales side is sometimes referred to as “East” and includes LACDD and the Lake Ashton HOA. The Winter Haven side is often called “West” or Lake Ashton II and includes LAIICDD and the LA II HOA. Additionally, the Palms of Ashton Condominium Association operates within LACDD. As a result, there are five distinct governing boards within the community collectively known as “Lake Ashton.”

As we transition into the slower season, the Eagles Nest will be adjusting hours based on demand:

Lake Ashton features 2 restaurants: a full service restaurant called Charm City at Lake Ashton and a sports bar called The Eagles Nest. The clubhouse ballroom can also be rented.
